Mechanism
Upregulates growth hormone receptor expression in fibroblasts, promotes angiogenesis via VEGF pathways, enhances nitric oxide signaling, suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-alpha, IL-6), stimulates fibroblast migration and collagen deposition. First published human IV safety data shows tolerability. Interacts with dopaminergic, serotonergic, and opioid systems.
