Mechanism
Binds GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs, stimulating pulsatile growth hormone release. Four substitutions (Ala2, Nle8, Asp15, Ala18) prevent DPP-IV degradation, extending half-life vs native GRF. A single injection produces 2-10x GH increases lasting 6+ days and 1.5-3x IGF-I increases lasting 9-11 days.

Ipamorelin Synergy
GHRH + ghrelin mimetic synergy: CJC-1295 pushes GH release while Ipamorelin suppresses somatostatin. Combined GH pulse is 3-10x greater than either alone.

Food Absorption interference
Food blunts GH release through 3 mechanisms: insulin suppression, somatostatin surge, and ghrelin collapse.
Reconstitution and storage
Typical: 2mL BAC water per 2mg vial = 100mcg per 10 units on insulin syringe.
Lyophilized: freezer. Reconstituted: refrigerate, use within 4-6 weeks.
