By downloading, installing, or using the Compound app ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Compound is a protocol tracking and intelligence application designed for informational purposes. The app allows users to log compounds, dosages, and protocols, view interaction data, and receive AI-generated insights.

Medical Disclaimer

The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All content, including AI-generated insights, compound information, interaction data, and protocol suggestions, is for informational and educational purposes only.

The app is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, modifying, or discontinuing any compound, medication, or protocol. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the app.

Compound data, including the compound database, interaction maps, and AI-generated analysis, is derived from publicly available research and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information. You use this information entirely at your own risk.

Account and Subscription

The app may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

Paid features are available through auto-renewing subscriptions managed by Apple. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing are governed by Apple's terms and your Apple ID settings. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device settings.

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure or services
• Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts
• Use the app to provide medical advice or services to others

Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, code, content, compound database, and AI models, is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of the personal data you enter into the app.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any content, including compound data and AI-generated insights, is accurate, complete, or current.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the app, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, health complications, loss of data, or loss of profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that the use of any compound, medication, or protocol — whether or not tracked through the app — is undertaken entirely at your own risk.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the app and its developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your violation of these terms, or your use of any compound or protocol.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
